Job summary

Diagnostic Imaging Solutions (DIS), a subsidiary of Catalyst MedTech, seeks a Cardiac Stress Technician for day shifts in Woburn, MA. Role involves patient prep, vital signs, IV access, and supervised pharmacologic stress testing with 12-lead EKG monitoring. Travel to client sites in a company van is required.

The position offers a daytime schedule (Mon–Fri) with no nights or weekends, competitive benefits, and opportunities to work independently within a growing nuclear cardiology team.

Qualifications

• Active Paramedic License or Licensed Practical Nurse License.
• Completion of an accredited emergency care, paramedicine, or nursing program.
• Active BLS and ACLS Certification.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with 12-Lead EKG placement and rhythm interpretation; IV insertion.
• Ability to push/pull heavy medical equipment as a team.
• Ability to assist patients on and off the camera.
• Valid Driver’s License.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for cardiac stress testing procedures.
• Assess vital signs and establish IV access; monitor patient during treadmill and pharmacologic stress testing.
• Administer pharmacological stress agents and dose calculations.
• Operate and monitor 12-lead EKG; document results and medical history in PACS.
• Initiate BLS/ACLS protocols as needed under physician supervision.
• Travel to client sites in company van; comply with Radiation Safety and DOT rules.
• Provide excellent customer service and patient care.
