Job summary

Diagnostic Imaging Solutions (DIS) is seeking a Cardiac Stress Technician to prepare patients for stress testing, monitor vitals, and ensure safety. This role travels to client sites in a company van, handling IV access, EKG monitoring, and drug administration under physician supervision.

The ideal candidate is a licensed Paramedic or LPN with BLS/ACLS, at least 1 year of 12-Lead EKG experience, and the ability to work independently in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Active Paramedic License or LPN License.
• Completion of accredited emergency care, paramedicine, or nursing program.
• Active BLS and ACLS Certification.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for cardiac stress testing.
• Assess patient vital signs.
• Establish IV access using aseptic technique.
• Set up and monitor treadmill and pharmacologic stress testing, including EKG monitoring.
• Prepare pharmacological stress agents and administer doses.
• Document test results and patient medical history in PACS.
• Initiate BLS/ACLS if patient symptoms require it.
• Travel to client sites in company van as scheduled.
• Follow Radiation Safety and DOT regulations during transport.

Additional administrative documentation may be required.Initiate BLS and ACLS algorithms to manage patient symptoms in the event of an emergency, under physician supervision.Demonstrate a strong commitment to providing consistent and excellent customer service and patient care at all times.Travel to client sites as scheduled.
