Job summary

Diagnostic Imaging Solutions (DIS) seeks a Cardiac Stress Technician to support mobile nuclear cardiology services. You will prepare patients, monitor vital signs, set up stress testing, and ensure safety while traveling to client centers.

A licensed paramedic or LPN with BLS/ACLS, IV and EKG skills, and at least 1 year of experience are required. You will work a Monday–Friday daylight schedule, enjoy independent work, and benefit from comprehensive medical and retirement offerings as part of a

Qualifications

• Active Paramedic license or LPN license.
• Completion of an accredited emergency care, paramedicine, or nursing program.
• Active BLS and ACLS certification.
• Minimum 1 year of experience with 12-Lead EKG placement and rhythm interpretation; IV insertion.
• Ability to handle heavy medical equipment as a team.
• Ability to assist patients on and off the camera.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for cardiac stress testing procedures.
• Assess patient vital signs.
• Establish IV access using aseptic technique.
• Set up and monitor treadmill and pharmacologic stress testing with 12-lead EKG monitoring.
• Prepare pharmacologic stress agents, dose calculation, and administration.
• Ensure patient safety and high-quality testing.
• Document test results and medical history in the PACS system; other admin tasks as needed.
• Initiate BLS and ACLS algorithms under physician supervision.
• Demonstrate commitment to excellent patient service and care.
• Travel to client sites in company van; comply with Radiation Safety and DOT regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
