Job summary

Cracker Barrel is hiring a Business Analyst to bridge business needs and digital solutions. You will gather requirements, write user stories and acceptance criteria, and support UAT across web and mobile initiatives, partnering with Product, Marketing, Loyalty, Operations, and Tech teams.

You will document workflows, user journeys, and system interactions while enabling release readiness and post-launch optimization to improve guest engagement and loyalty experiences.

Qualifications

• Experience gathering and documenting requirements, writing user stories and acceptance criteria, supporting UAT, and working with business and technical stakeholders.
• 1-3 years in a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Systems Analyst, Product Owner, or similar role supporting web, digital, customer experience, ecommerce, or enterprise technology initiatives.
• Experience working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Certification preferences include CBAP, PMI-PBA, Agile/Scrum, or Product Owner but are not required.

Responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to understand objectives and define solution scope.
• Facilitate discovery sessions, interviews, and workshops to elicit requirements.
• Translate objectives into mobile requirements, user stories, and success metrics.
• Document current and future workflows, journeys, and system interactions.
• Support testing, UAT, and release readiness; assist with post-launch optimization.

So, join our team and find your place, because here...we’re all in good company.What You'll Do - You'll Make the MomentPartner with stakeholders across the enterprise, including Product, Marketing, Loyalty & CRM, Operations, Customer Experience, Finance, Digital Technology, and external vendors to understand business objectives, challenges, and opportunities.Facilitate discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, requirements workshops, and cross-functional meetings to identify business needs and define solution scope.Translate business objectives into actionable mobile requirements, user stories, business rules, workflow diagrams, acceptance criteria, and measurable success metrics.Document current-state and future-state workflows, user journeys, business processes, and system interactions.Analyze and document impacts, assumptions, risks, dependencies, edge cases, and operational considerations.Support the delivery of mobile capabilities that improve guest engagement, satisfaction, convenience, and loyalty.Collaborate with UX, Product, and Mobile Development teams to ensure solutions meet business objectives and guest needs.Help identify opportunities to improve mobile conversion, retention, app engagement, and customer satisfaction.Support enhancements related to Cracker Barrel Rewards, loyalty engagement, reward redemption, promotional campaigns, bonus offers, and customer account experiences.Partner with Loyalty, CRM, Digital Marketing, and Product teams to define and document requirements supporting personalized digital experiences.Partner with QA and business stakeholders to define test scenarios, review test coverage, support UAT, prioritize defects, resolve requirement questions, and support go/no-go recommendations.Support release readiness by confirming requirements coverage, stakeholder alignment, UAT readiness, business process impacts, communications, training needs, and support considerations.Support post-launch validation by comparing delivered functionality and performance against agreed success criteria and identifying opportunities for optimization.Create and maintain clear documentation for both technical and non-technical audiences, including meeting notes, decision logs, process flows, requirement summaries, readiness materials, and support handoffsBachelor degree in Business Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent education and experience.1-3 years of experience as a Business Analyst, Product Analyst, Systems Analyst, Product Owner, or similar role supporting web, digital, customer experience, ecommerce, or enterprise technology initiatives.Experience gathering and documenting requirements, writing user stories and acceptance criteria, supporting UAT, and working with business and technical stakeholders.Experience working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders..Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP), PMI Professional in Business Analysis (PMI-PBA), Agile/Scrum certification, Product Owner certification, or related certification preferred but not required.Focus on YouWe're all about making sure you're taken care of too.
