Job description

Join to apply for the Mobile Building Engineer role at Cushman & Wakefield.

This position supports the Assistant and/or Chief Engineer and Sr. Facilities Manager in the day-to-day maintenance, repair, and efficient operation of all building systems and equipment on behalf of the client. The Engineer will perform routine operation, inspection, maintenance, and repairs of HVAC, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment to ensure optimal operation and longevity.

Key Responsibilities include:

  1. Inspect, test, and repair mechanical equipment throughout the building.
  2. Diagnose system issues and perform repairs.
  3. Manage building systems and ensure safety and compliance standards are met.
  4. Perform preventive maintenance on facility systems.
  5. Maintain HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and building interior/exterior systems.
  6. Respond to emergencies and perform general maintenance tasks as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • 5+ years of experience in a commercial property setting.
  • Technical training in HVAC, electrical, mechanical, or plumbing.
  • Certifications as a Universal Technician for CFCs or HVAC certifications.

Additional qualifications include relevant licenses, experience with building systems, and the ability to work in varying conditions. The role involves physical demands such as lifting heavy equipment and working in different environments.
