Job summary

Advantage Behavioral Health Systems in Athens, GA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse to provide nursing services in a mobile behavioral health clinic. You’ll support assessments, administer MOUD, monitor meds, and help patients manage treatment in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team.

Under RN or physician supervision, you will deliver trauma-informed care, educate patients and families, and contribute to outreach to improve engagement in treatment across community settings.

Qualifications

• Vocational/Technical degree from an accredited college.
• Current Georgia license to practice as a Licensed Practical Nurse.

Responsibilities

• Support client nursing assessments, including vital signs, medical history, and medication reconciliation.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans for clients.
• Administer medications, including injectable medications, and MOUD as prescribed.
• Perform health screenings and take vital signs as required by the prescriber.
• Maintain accurate documentation of client care activities in the EMR.
• Coordinate with community resources to ensure continuity of care.
