Job summary

SOUTHEAST DETOX LLC in Rome, GA is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for PRN coverage to support clinical operations, medication management, patient care, and nursing tasks in a fast-paced behavioral health setting.

The successful candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and capable of collaborating with physicians, nurses, and admin staff while maintaining HIPAA compliance and accurate EHR documentation.

Qualifications

• LPN license in good standing is required.
• Minimum of 1 year nursing experience preferred.
• Experience in behavioral health or outpatient settings preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Assist physicians and nurse practitioners with daily clinical operations.
• Coordinate patient scheduling for medical and psychiatric appointments.
• Perform and document patient vital signs.
• Collect and process urine drug screens.
• Assist with medication ordering, refills, prior authorizations, and reconciliation.
• Monitor medication inventory and communicate concerns to providers.
• Coordinate documentation and patient follow-up within the EHR.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and liaise with multidisciplinary team.
