Job summary

The Hillman Group is seeking a Mobile Locksmith Technician to join its expanding Dallas mobile service team. You'll operate a fully equipped mobile locksmith van and work with an Automotive Mobile Sales Representative to provide on-site automotive key replacement, programming, and locksmith solutions for customers in the Dallas area.

Requirements include a current Texas Automotive Locksmith License or the ability to renew, plus a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Must have High school diploma or GED.
• Current Texas Automotive Locksmith License or ability to renew upon hire.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Experience with automotive locksmithing including cutting, programming, and cloning keys.

Responsibilities

• Cutting and programming automotive keys and key fobs for various vehicle makes and models.
• Assist customers with automotive locksmith services in the field.
• Operate and maintain electronic and manual key-cutting equipment.
• Manage inventory, parts, and supplies within the mobile service van.
• Schedule and coordinate customer appointments and service visits.
• Maintain the van in a clean, organized, showroom-ready condition.
• Troubleshoot automotive key and transponder issues using specialized equipment and software.
• Deliver exceptional customer service while representing The Hillman Group professionally at customer locations.
• Collaborate with leadership to improve processes and support program growth.
