Job summary

United States Digital Space LLC in the United States is seeking a mobile automation engineer to design, develop, and maintain test scripts using WebdriverIO with TypeScript. You will automate tests for iOS and Android apps and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines.

You will ensure cross-device compatibility, work with developers, product managers, and testers, debug failures with logs and screenshots, and contribute to test strategy and documentation.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience with WebdriverIO using TypeScript/JavaScript for mobile test automation.
• Experience with Appium for mobile test automation across iOS and Android.
• Strong understanding of Page Object Model (POM) and test design patterns.
• Proficiency with npm, Node.js, and related build tools.
• Experience with reporting frameworks such as Allure or Mochawesome.
• Familiarity with BDD frameworks (Cucumber) is a plus.
• Knowledge of mobile debugging tools (ADB, Xcode, Android Studio).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain mobile automation test scripts using WebdriverIO with TypeScript.
• Automate test cases for iOS and Android applications.
• Integrate automated scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, etc.).
• Ensure cross-device, cross-platform compatibility testing.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and manual testers to ensure high product quality.
• Debug, analyze test failures, and raise defects with detailed logs/screenshots.
• Maintain test documentation and contribute to test strategy & process improvements.
