Job summary

Crater Lake Ford, part of Lithia & Driveway, seeks a Mobile Service Technician to perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on customer vehicles on site and in the field. You will road-test vehicles, document work, and ensure safety standards are met while working independently in a fast-paced, customer-focused role.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in automotive service with Ford experience or certifications, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage schedules and work

Qualifications

• 2+ years as an automotive service technician.
• Ford experience or manufacturer certifications preferred.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs safely and efficiently.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to work independently, manage your schedule, and stay organized while working in the field.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose cause of malfunction.
• Road-test vehicles to ensure quality of repair work.
• Accurately record time spent on repairs utilizing company time clocking procedures.
• Document work performed on repair orders and test procedures/results.
• Maintain an organized and clean workspace; manage inventory of basic tools.
• Return special tools to proper place; use shop supplies economically.
