Job summary

Instant Car Fix is seeking a Mobile Automotive Technician in Detroit, MI. This position offers full-time or part-time 1099 contractor opportunities, delivering automotive service directly at customers' locations with the latest diagnostic tools and software.

You will diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles on the go, using advanced equipment, and provide detailed reports while offering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience as an automotive technician.
ASE certifications highly valued; Master Technician status a plus.
Proficiency in using computerized diagnostic equipment and repair software.

Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair vehicles at customers' locations using advanced tools.
Perform comprehensive diagnostics and repairs, from maintenance to complex systems.
Prepare detailed reports and maintain service records.
Manage inventory in your mobile service vehicle.
Provide excellent customer service and explain issues clearly.
Adopt new repair techniques and technologies as they emerge.
