Job summary

Wrench is seeking Mobile Technicians to perform repair and maintenance on automotive vehicles as a contractor (1099). You will diagnose, fix, and prepare vehicles for customers and partners, handling tasks from oil changes to engine work, brakes, and no-starts.

You must have 3–5+ years of automotive experience, strong diagnostic and customer-service skills, and the ability to travel to customer locations with a full toolset. Pay is per job: typically $40–$160.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5+ years of automotive mechanic experience.
• Master Tech or Medium Duty experience is preferred.
• Strong customer-service and communication skills.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Conduct thorough inspections and diagnostic tests to identify vehicle issues.
• Perform a wide range of repairs including engine, transmission, brakes, and electrical systems.
• Address breakdowns and no-starts, and perform routine maintenance.
• Ensure vehicles receive scheduled maintenance per manufacturer guidelines.
• Familiarity with a variety of vehicle makes and models.
