Instant Car Fix is seeking a Mobile Automotive Technician in Detroit, MI. This position offers full-time or part-time 1099 contractor opportunities, delivering automotive service directly at customers' locations with the latest diagnostic tools and software.

You will diagnose, repair, and maintain vehicles on the go, using advanced equipment, and provide detailed reports while offering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as an automotive technician.
• ASE certifications highly valued; Master Technician status a plus.
• Proficiency in using computerized diagnostic equipment and repair software.

Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive vehicle diagnostics using advanced tools and software
• Execute a wide range of repairs, from routine maintenance to complex system overhauls
• Conduct pre-purchase inspections and provide detailed reports to potential buyers

• Maintain meticulous service records and documentation
• Manage inventory in your mobile service vehicle

• High school diploma required; associate degree in automotive technology or related field preferred
• ASE certifications highly valued; Master Technician status a plus
• Minimum 3 years of experience as an automotive technician

• Excellent communication abilities, both verbal and written
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various positions
