Qualifications

• DVM/VMD degree from AVMA-accredited institution.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat companion animals to diagnose disease or injury.
• Operate diagnostic equipment and interpret results.
• Advise pet owners on preventive care and treatment options.
• Perform surgery and prescribe medications as needed.
• Provide guidance around pet end-of-life care.
• Maintain patients' medical records.
• Ensure compliance with veterinary ethics and relevant statutes.
