Job summary

SmartVet Veterinary Services in Normal, Illinois, seeks a Mobile Associate Veterinarian to deliver high-quality care directly to pets in their homes and at our facility. This role offers freedom beyond traditional hospital settings and the chance to help grow a mobile veterinary program in the Bloomington-Normal area.

You will work with a team that supports scheduling and client communication, while enjoying independence in the field.

Qualifications

• DVM or VMD degree required.
• Illinois veterinary license or ability to obtain license.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with clients.
• Ability to work independently in mobile setting.

Responsibilities

• Examine and treat companion animals.
• Operate diagnostic equipment and interpret results.
• Advise pet owners on preventative care and treatment options.
• Perform surgery and prescribe medications as needed.
• Maintain medical records and ensure compliance with ethics.
