Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store, are an integral part of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations. They are ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services, thrive in high-traffic environments, and excel at building relationships with customers through meaningful interactions. They are passionate about educating, demonstrating, and recommending solutions to meet customer needs, and they aim to exceed performance targets by providing exceptional customer experiences and meeting quality of sale metrics.

Job Responsibilities

1. Proactively engage with customers in a high-traffic retail environment, using digital tools to educate and showcase the value of T-Mobile solutions.
2. Leverage digital self-serve tools during customer interactions, identify customer needs, and demonstrate the value of T-Mobile products and services through solution-based selling.
3. Complete training on in-store experience, new products, and processes, and continuously improve skills to enhance customer experience. Partner with nearby stores to onboard customers and perform store operations, including opening and closing procedures.
4. Be customer-obsessed by building rapport, trust, and loyalty through friendly and engaging interactions. Follow up with customers, manage referrals, and perform price overrides for special offers.
5. Build relationships with store leadership and support the customer experience from account setup to device support.
6. Meet minimum requirements: High School Diploma/GED and 6 months of customer service or sales experience, preferably in retail.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Passionate about customer satisfaction and effective at balancing customer experience with performance goals.
• Team-oriented, willing to learn and share best practices, and committed to providing resolutions.
• Competitive in sales, confident in a fast-paced environment.

Licenses and Certifications

• At least 18 years old
• Legally authorized to work in the United States

Additional Details

Hourly pay starts at $19.00 plus $5.00 training pay. During the first 90 days, training pay applies. Afterward, promotion to Mobile Expert includes eligibility for an annual incentive of approximately $18,000, with guaranteed earnings of $20/hour including incentives. All employees are eligible for an annual stock grant.
