Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store are an integral part of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations, where active customer engagement is crucial for success. They are ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a high-traffic environment, where technology innovations, customer needs, and the Retail experience are continuously evolving. Mobile Associates excel at building and deepening relationships with customers through meaningful interactions, identifying customer needs, and recommending solutions.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Proactively engage with customers in a high-traffic retail environment, using digital tools to educate and showcase T-Mobile solutions.
  2. Leverage digital self-serve tools during customer interactions and onboarding, identifying needs and demonstrating product value.
  3. Complete training on store experience, new skills, and product knowledge; review personal results and promotions regularly.
  4. Provide exceptional customer service, build rapport, and proactively reach out to potential customers to drive sales.
  5. Build relationships with store leadership and teams to support the customer experience from setup to support.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Customer satisfaction: passionate advocate, effective at balancing experience and performance (Required)
  • Team building: willingness to collaborate and share best practices (Required)
  • Retail sales: competitive drive and confidence in a fast-paced environment (Required)
Licenses and Certifications
  • At least 18 years old
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Additional Information

Hourly pay starts at $19.00 plus $5.00 training pay during the first 90 days. After training, promotion to Mobile Expert is possible with an incentive target of $18,000/year, with actual incentives based on performance. All employees are guaranteed a minimum of $20/hour including incentives and are eligible for an annual stock grant.
