Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store, are vital members of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations. They are ambassadors who create energy and excitement around our products and services, thrive in high-traffic environments, and are passionate about educating customers and building relationships through meaningful interactions. They aim to exceed performance targets by delivering exceptional customer experiences and meeting sales metrics.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Proactively engage with customers in a busy retail setting, using digital tools to educate and demonstrate the value of T-Mobile solutions.
  2. Leverage digital self-serve tools during interactions, identify customer needs, and recommend suitable wireless solutions to deepen relationships and ensure satisfaction.
  3. Complete training on store experience, products, systems, and reference resources to continuously improve skills and customer service quality.
  4. Build rapport with customers, match their pace, and provide exceptional service to exceed expectations. Follow up, manage referrals, and perform price overrides for specific offers.
  5. Collaborate with nearby store locations to support customer onboarding and support activities such as opening and closing procedures, including securing kiosk assets.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, preferably in retail (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Customer-focused with the ability to connect personally and professionally with customers (Required)
  • Team-oriented, willing to learn and share best practices (Required)
  • Competitive and confident in a fast-paced sales environment (Required)
Licenses and Certifications
  • At least 18 years old
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Additional Details

Hourly pay starts at $17.50, with opportunities for incentive pay during training and promotion to a Mobile Expert role with an annual incentive target of $18,000. All employees are guaranteed a minimum of $20/hour including incentives. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), stock grants, paid time off, holidays, parental leave, family support, tuition assistance, and discounts.
