Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store, are vital members of the Retail Team, responsible for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations. They engage actively with customers, creating energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in high-traffic environments, continuously adapting to technological innovations, customer needs, and the evolving retail experience. Mobile Associates excel at building relationships through meaningful interactions, identifying customer needs, and educating, demonstrating, and recommending solutions. They aim to exceed performance targets by providing exceptional customer experiences and meeting sales quality metrics.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Customer Engagement: Proactively interact with customers in a high-traffic retail environment using digital tools, effectively communicate, educate, and showcase the value of T-Mobile solutions.
  2. Solution Selling: Leverage digital self-serve tools during customer interactions, identify needs, and recommend solutions to deepen customer relationships and ensure satisfaction.
  3. Training and Store Operations: Complete training on store experience, products, and systems. Participate in store opening/closing procedures, including securing assets and reporting issues.
  4. Customer Service: Connect personally with customers, build rapport and trust, and aim to exceed expectations. Follow up, manage referrals, and support ongoing customer relationships.
  5. Team Collaboration: Build relationships with nearby teams to support customer account setup, device support, and account servicing.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience; retail experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Customer Satisfaction: Passionate advocate, balancing experience and performance.
  • Team Building: Willing to collaborate and share best practices.
  • Retail Sales: Competitive and confident in a fast-paced sales environment.
Licenses and Certifications
  • At least 18 years old
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
Additional Information

Hourly pay starts at $17.50, with opportunities for incentive pay and promotion to Mobile Expert with an annual incentive target of $18,000. All employees are guaranteed a minimum earning of $20/hour including incentives. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), stock grants, paid time off, holidays, parental leave, family support, tuition assistance, and discounts.
