Job summary

T-Mobile in Bloomington, MN is looking for Mobile Associates to engage customers and promote T-Mobile solutions in a retail environment. You will proactively approach potential customers, use digital tools, and build rapport to drive sales.

This role requires a high school diploma and ideally 6 months of retail or customer service experience. Competitive pay starts at $19.50 per hour plus additional incentives and benefits.

Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store are an integral part of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T‑Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations. They create energy and excitement around our products and services, thrive in a high‑traffic environment, and help customers navigate evolving technology. Mobile Associates build relationships through meaningful interaction, identifying customer needs and recommending solutions.

Job Responsibilities

• Proactively engage a broad range of customers in a high‑traffic retail environment; use digital tools, communicate effectively, educate customers, and showcase the value of T‑Mobile solutions.
• Leverage digital self‑serve tools during customer interactions and onboarding; identify customer needs and employ solution‑based selling to fully demonstrate the value of T‑Mobile products and services.
• Complete training on the T‑Mobile in‑store experience, products, processes, systems, and reference resources; review personal results, promotions, and Hub updates to remain customer ready.
• Stay customer obsessed; build rapport, trust, and loyalty; proactively reach out to potential customers to drive sales; capture referrals and follow up; manage “Be Back” processes; perform price overrides for specialty offers.
• Build relationships with nearby leadership and teams to support the customer experience from account set‑up to device support and account servicing.

Education and Work Experience

• High School Diploma or GED (Required)

Compensation

Hourly Base Pay: $19.50, plus $5.00 per hour training pay. Within the first 90 days... promote to Mobile Expert role; eligible for annual incentive target of $18,000/year. All employees guaranteed earnings of $20/hour inclusive of base pay and incentives; all eligible for annual stock grant.
