Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store, are a vital part of the Retail Team responsible for bringing the T-Mobile brand to life within National Sales partner locations. Active customer engagement is essential for success. They serve as ambassadors who generate energy and excitement around our products and services. They are passionate about the connected world and excel in high-traffic environments where technology, customer needs, and the retail experience are constantly evolving. Mobile Associates build and deepen customer relationships through meaningful interactions, identifying needs, educating, demonstrating, and recommending solutions. They aim to exceed performance targets by doing it the right way, excelling in sales, providing exceptional customer experiences, and meeting quality metrics.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Engage proactively with customers in a busy retail setting, utilizing digital tools, effective communication, and product demonstrations to showcase T-Mobile solutions.
  2. Leverage digital self-serve tools during customer interactions to identify needs and demonstrate the value of our products and services, including onboarding and app utilization.
  3. Complete training on in-store experience, products, systems, and procedures. Stay updated on promotions and store resources to ensure readiness. Assist with onboarding customers and perform store operations, including opening and closing procedures, securely managing kiosk assets, and reporting issues.
  4. Deliver exceptional customer service by connecting on a personal level, building rapport, trust, and loyalty. Follow up with customers, manage referrals, and support sales activities, including price overrides for special offers.
  5. Build relationships with nearby leadership and teams to support customer account setup, device support, and account management.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • Minimum 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, preferably in retail (Required)

  • Customer Satisfaction: Passionate about customer advocacy, balancing experience and performance goals. (Required)
  • Team Building: Willing to collaborate with peers and leaders, sharing best practices. (Required)
  • Retail Sales: Driven and confident to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment. (Required)

Hourly Base Pay: $20.00

During the first 90 days, associates receive training and are eligible for incentive pay. Post-training, they can promote to Mobile Expert, with an annual incentive target of $18,000, performance-dependent. All employees are guaranteed a minimum of $20/hour including incentives, and are eligible for an Annual Stock Grant.
