Job Overview

Mobile Associates, Store-in-Store are key members of the Retail Team, responsible for representing the T-Mobile brand within National Sales partner locations. They engage actively with customers, create energy around our products and services, and thrive in a high-traffic environment where technology and customer needs evolve. These associates excel at building relationships, understanding customer needs, and recommending solutions to meet those needs, exceeding performance targets through sales, exceptional customer service, and quality metrics.

Job Responsibilities
  • Proactively engage with customers in a high-traffic retail setting, using digital tools to educate and demonstrate the value of T-Mobile solutions.
  • Leverage digital self-serve tools during customer interactions to identify needs and demonstrate product value, helping customers understand how to self-serve via the T-Mobile app.
  • Complete training on in-store experience, products, processes, and systems, and continuously improve skills to enhance customer experience. Assist with store operations, including opening and closing procedures, securing assets, and reporting issues.
  • Provide passionate, friendly, and engaging customer service, building rapport and loyalty. Follow up with customers, manage referrals, and perform price overrides when necessary.
  • Build relationships with nearby teams to support the customer journey from setup to support and account management.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • At least 6 months of customer service or sales experience, retail preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Customer-focused attitude with the ability to connect and have fun with customers.
  • Team player willing to learn and share best practices.
  • Competitive in sales and confident in a fast-paced environment.
Licenses and Certifications
  • At least 18 years old
  • Authorized to work in the U.S.

Compensation and Benefits

Starting hourly pay is $17.50, with incentives available during training and upon promotion. All employees are guaranteed a minimum of $20/hour including incentives, plus eligibility for annual stock grants. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, holidays, parental leave, family support, tuition assistance, and discounts on mobile and internet services.
