Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as a member of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They are brand ambassadors who build energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, where technology innovations, customer needs, and the Retail experience are continuously evolving. They connect deeply with customers, building relationships and understanding their needs, and are passionate about educating, demonstrating, and recommending device and service solutions. This role is a learning position, where new associates work with their team to build skills and prepare for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Build proficiency in serving and selling to customers, providing a world-class experience, and building loyalty by assisting customers online, via Customer Care, or in-store. Explore individual needs and demonstrate the latest technology, accessories, and IoT devices, approaching interactions with integrity and compassion.
  2. Utilize digital tools effectively during interactions and onboarding to demonstrate coverage, plans, and services, and stay informed about innovations in wireless technology. Complete training on in-store experience, new skills, processes, and system knowledge.
  3. Establish relationships and collaborate with T-Mobile employees across channels to own the customer experience, resolve issues, identify small business leads, and support team initiatives in an inclusive environment.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred. Required
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Passionate customer advocate who enjoys connecting and having fun. (Required)
  • Competitive drive with success in a fast-paced sales environment. (Required)
  • Willingness to learn and share ideas with peers and leaders while serving customers. (Required)
  • Ability to balance customer needs and performance goals. (Required)

Hourly Pay: $17.50/hour, with incentives and promotion opportunities, including a guaranteed minimum of $20/hour including incentives. All employees are eligible for an annual stock grant.
