Mobile Associates (MA) work as part of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They serve as brand ambassadors, creating energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, continuously evolving with technology innovations, customer needs, and the retail experience. Their ability to build strong connections with customers and deepen relationships is unmatched in the wireless industry.

They focus on uncovering customer needs and are passionate about educating, demonstrating, and recommending device and service solutions. This role is designed for learning, where new associates develop skills and prepare for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Customer Service and Sales: Build proficiency in serving and selling by providing a world-class experience, including helping customers continue their shopping journey, exploring needs, demonstrating technology, and offering personalized solutions.
  2. Digital Tools Usage: Use digital tools to demonstrate coverage, plans, and store experience, and stay informed about wireless innovations.
  3. Partnerships and Collaboration: Establish relationships with other T-Mobile employees to ensure a seamless customer experience, support team initiatives, and create an inclusive environment.
Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
  • Passionate about customer advocacy and having fun connecting with people (Required)
  • Competitive drive and ability to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment (Required)
  • Willing to learn and share ideas with peers and leaders (Required)
  • Effective at balancing customer needs and performance goals (Required)
  • At least 18 years old and legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Hourly Pay: $19.00, with potential incentives and promotion to Mobile Expert after training, with an annual incentive target of $18,000/year. All employees guaranteed a minimum of $20/hour including incentives. Employees are also eligible for annual stock grants.
