Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as a member of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They are brand ambassadors who build energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, where technology innovations, customer needs, and the Retail experience are continuously evolving. They connect deeply with customers, building relationships and uncovering needs to educate, demonstrate, and recommend device and service solutions. This is a learning role, preparing associates for advancement to Mobile Expert upon successful training completion.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Build proficiency in serving and selling to customers, providing a world-class experience by:
    1. Helping customers continue their shopping journey across channels.
    2. Exploring needs and demonstrating technology in-store.
    3. Selling personalized solutions, accessories, IoT devices, and more.
    4. Approaching service with integrity and compassion.
  2. Use digital tools to demonstrate coverage, plans, and services, and complete training on systems and resources.
  3. Establish relationships across channels, resolve issues, support team initiatives, and create an inclusive environment.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
  • Customer advocate with a fun, authentic personality (Required)
  • Competitive drive and success in a fast-paced sales environment (Required)
  • Willingness to learn and collaborate with peers and leaders (Required)
  • Ability to balance customer needs and performance goals (Required)
Licenses and Certifications
  • At least 18 years old
  • Legally authorized to work in the US

Pay and Benefits

Starting hourly pay is $17.50, with on-the-job training and incentives. After training, promotion to Mobile Expert offers an annual incentive target of $18,000, with guaranteed minimum earnings of $20/hour including incentives. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), stock grants, paid time off, holidays, parental leave, family benefits, tuition assistance, insurance options, discounts, and more.
