Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as a member of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They are brand ambassadors who build energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, where technology innovations, customer needs, and the Retail experience are continuously evolving. They build meaningful connections with customers, uncover needs, and recommend device and service solutions. This role is a learning position, where new associates develop skills and prepare for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Build proficiency in serving and selling to customers, providing a world-class experience and loyalty by:
    1. Assisting customers in their shopping journey, online, through Customer Care, or in-store.
    2. Exploring needs and demonstrating technology in-store.
    3. Side-by-side selling for personalized solutions, including accessories and IoT devices.
    4. Approaching needs with integrity and compassion.
  2. Utilize digital tools to demonstrate coverage, plans, and services, completing training on in-store experience, systems, and resources. Seek learning opportunities during shifts.
  3. Establish relationships with T-Mobile employees across channels to own the customer experience, resolve issues, identify leads, and support team initiatives.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Customer advocate with enthusiasm and fun!
  • Drive to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment.
  • Willingness to learn and collaborate with team members.
  • Ability to balance customer needs and performance goals.
Licenses and Certifications
  • At least 18 years old
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

Travel: No
DOT Regulated: No
Hourly Pay: $17.50 + $5.00 training pay. After training, eligible for incentives up to $18,000/year. All employees guaranteed $20/hour including incentives. Eligible for stock grants.
