Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as part of a Retail Team to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They serve as brand ambassadors, building energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, connecting deeply with customers to understand and meet their needs, and educating them about our technology solutions. This role is designed for learning, with new associates working alongside their team to develop skills and prepare for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service & Sales: Build proficiency in serving and selling by providing a world-class experience, helping customers continue their shopping journey, demonstrating technology, and offering personalized solutions, including accessories and IoT devices. Approach interactions with integrity and compassion.
  2. Digital Tools & Training: Use digital tools effectively during customer interactions and onboarding, demonstrate coverage and plan benefits, and stay informed about wireless innovations through ongoing training.
  3. Team Collaboration: Partner with other T-Mobile employees across channels to ensure a seamless customer experience, resolve issues, identify small business leads, and support team initiatives to foster an inclusive environment.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience; retail experience preferred (Required)
  • Passionate about customer advocacy and having fun connecting with people (Required)
  • Competitive drive with the ability to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment (Required)
  • Ability to work collaboratively, learn, share ideas, and resolve customer issues (Required)
  • Effective at balancing customer needs and performance goals (Required)

Compensation & Benefits

Starting hourly pay is $17.50, with training and incentive opportunities. After training, promotion to Mobile Expert offers an annual incentive target of $18,000, with guaranteed earnings of $20/hour including incentives. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), stock grants, paid time off, holidays, parental leave, family support, tuition assistance, and voluntary insurance options.
