Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as part of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They serve as brand ambassadors, creating energy and excitement around our products and services. Passionate about the connected world, they thrive in a fast-paced environment where technology and customer needs evolve continuously. They focus on building strong customer relationships, educating, demonstrating, and recommending device and service solutions. This role is designed for learning, with new associates working with their team to develop skills and prepare for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Develop proficiency in serving and selling to customers, providing a world-class experience and building loyalty by:
  • Assisting customers seamlessly across online, customer care, and in-store channels.
  • Exploring customer needs and demonstrating the latest technology.
  • Selling personalized solutions including accessories and IoT devices.
  • Approaching customer interactions with integrity and compassion.
  • Utilize digital tools to demonstrate coverage, plans, and services, including:
    • Coverage maps and LTE network information.
    • Benefits of T-Mobile plans and services.
    • Completing training on systems, processes, and in-store experience.
    • Continuously learning about innovations in wireless technology.
  • Build relationships and collaborate with other T-Mobile employees to:
    • Own the customer experience and resolve issues efficiently.
    • Identify and pass small business leads.
    • Support team initiatives and foster an inclusive environment.
    Qualifications
    • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
    • Minimum 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
    • Passionate about customer advocacy and fun to connect with (Required)
    • Competitive drive with success in a sales environment (Required)
    • Willingness to learn and share ideas with peers and leaders (Required)
    • Ability to balance customer needs and performance goals (Required)

    Hourly Pay: $17.50/hour plus $5.00 training pay. After training, eligible for incentives and a potential annualized target of $18,000. All employees earn a guaranteed minimum of $20/hour including incentives. Additionally, all employees are eligible for an Annual Stock Grant.
