Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as a member of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They are brand ambassadors who build energy and excitement around our products and services. They are passionate about the connected world and thrive in a fast-paced environment where technology innovations, customer needs, and the retail experience are continuously evolving. They focus on building connections with customers, uncovering needs, and educating them on device and service solutions. This role serves as a learning position, where new associates work with their team to develop skills in preparation for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Customer Service and Sales: Build proficiency in serving and selling to customers, providing a world-class experience and building loyalty by:
    • Assisting customers in their shopping journey, online, through Customer Care, or in-store.
    • Exploring needs and demonstrating technology products.
    • Offering personalized solutions, including accessories and IoT devices.
    • Approaching customer interactions with integrity and compassion.
  2. Digital Tools and Training: Use digital tools effectively to demonstrate coverage, plans, and services. Complete training on store experience, new skills, systems, and resources. Continuously learn about innovations and technology during shifts.
  3. Team Collaboration: Establish relationships across channels, own the customer experience, resolve issues, and support team initiatives, fostering an inclusive environment.
Qualifications
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
  • Passionate about customer service and having fun (Required)
  • Competitive drive and success in sales environments (Required)
  • Willingness to learn and share ideas with peers and leaders (Required)
  • Ability to balance customer needs and performance goals (Required)

Compensation and Benefits

Starting hourly pay is $17.50 plus $5.00 training pay. During the first 90 days, associates receive on-the-job training and are eligible for training pay. Afterward, promotion to Mobile Expert offers an annual incentive target of $18,000, with guaranteed earnings of $20/hour including incentives. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, 401(k), stock plans, paid time off, holidays, parental leave, family benefits, disability, insurance options, discounts, and more.
