Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as part of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They act as brand ambassadors, building energy and excitement around our products and services. They are passionate about the connected world and thrive in a fast-paced environment, where technology innovations, customer needs, and the retail experience are continuously evolving. They focus on building relationships with customers, uncovering needs, and educating them about device and service solutions. This role is designed for learning, with new associates working with their team to develop skills and prepare for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities

1. Build proficiency in serving and selling to customers, providing a world-class experience and building loyalty by:
   • Assisting customers online, via Customer Care, or in-store.
   • Demonstrating products and exploring customer needs.
   • Selling personalized solutions, including accessories and IoT devices.
   • Approaching customer interactions with integrity and compassion.
2. Use digital tools effectively during interactions and onboarding to demonstrate coverage, plans, and services, and to learn about innovations.
3. Establish relationships and collaborate with T-Mobile employees across channels to ensure a seamless customer experience, support team initiatives, and identify business leads.

Education and Work Experience

• High School Diploma/GED (Required)
• At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred.

Hourly pay starts at $17.50 plus $5.00 training pay. After 90 days, eligible for promotion and incentives, with guaranteed minimum earnings of $20/hour including incentives and stock grants.
