Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as a member of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They build energy and excitement around our products and services, acting as brand ambassadors. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, continuously evolving with technology innovations and customer needs. They focus on building relationships with customers, understanding their needs, and educating them on device and service solutions. This role is designed for learning, with new associates working with their team to develop skills and prepare for the next level as a Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities
  1. Build proficiency in serving and selling to customers, providing a world-class experience and building loyalty by:
  2. Assisting customers in continuing their shopping journey online, via Customer Care, or in-store.
  3. Exploring customer needs and demonstrating technology products.
  4. Selling personalized solutions beyond devices and plans, including accessories and IoT devices.
  5. Approaching customer interactions with integrity, compassion, and composure.
  6. Using digital tools to demonstrate coverage, plans, and services effectively.
  7. Completing training on T-Mobile’s in-store experience, systems, and resources.
  8. Engaging in continuous learning about wireless innovations.
  9. Partnering with other T-Mobile employees across channels to ensure a seamless customer experience and identify small business leads.
  10. Supporting team initiatives and fostering an inclusive environment.
Education and Work Experience
  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • At least 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience; retail experience preferred.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Passionate about customer service and connecting with people.
  • Competitive and successful in fast-paced sales environments.
  • Collaborative, eager to learn and share ideas.
  • Ability to balance customer needs with performance goals.
Licenses and Certifications
  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
