Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as a member of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They are brand ambassadors who build energy and excitement around our products and services. They are passionate about the connected world and thrive in a fast-paced environment, where technology innovations, customer needs, and the Retail experience are continuously evolving. They build significant connections with customers, deepening relationships and uncovering needs to educate, demonstrate, and recommend device and service solutions. This role is designed for learning, where new associates work with their team to build skills and prepare for advancement to Mobile Expert. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities

1. Customer Service & Sales Skills Development: Build proficiency in serving and selling, providing a world-class experience, and fostering loyalty by helping customers continue their shopping journey, exploring needs, demonstrating technology, and offering personalized solutions including accessories and IoT devices. Approach interactions with composure, integrity, and compassion.
2. Digital Tools Usage: Use digital tools to demonstrate coverage, explain plans and services, complete training, and learn about innovations in wireless technology during shifts.
3. Relationship Building & Team Collaboration: Establish relationships across channels, own the customer experience, resolve issues, identify small business leads, and support team initiatives to create an inclusive environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED (Required)
• 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience, retail preferred (Required)
• Passionate customer advocate, competitive, and effective at balancing customer needs with performance goals (Required)

• At least 18 years of age
• Legally authorized to work in the United States

Hourly Pay: $19.00/hour plus $5.00/hour training pay during onboarding. After training, eligible for an annual incentive of $18,000/year, with guaranteed minimum earnings of $20/hour including incentives and stock grants.
