Job Overview

Mobile Associates (MA) work as a member of a Retail Team of Experts to bring the T-Mobile brand to life. They are brand ambassadors who build energy and excitement around our products and services. They thrive in a fast-paced environment, continuously evolving with technology innovations, customer needs, and the retail experience. They connect deeply with customers, building and deepening relationships, and are passionate about educating, demonstrating, and recommending device and service solutions. This role is designed for learning, with new associates working with their team to build skills in preparation for the Mobile Expert role. Successful completion of new employee training is required.

Job Responsibilities

1. Build proficiency in serving and selling to customers, providing a world-class experience, and building loyalty by:
   • Assisting customers in their shopping journey across online, Customer Care, or in-store channels.
   • Providing hands-on demonstrations of the latest technology.
   • Side-by-side selling for personalized solutions, including accessories and IoT devices.
   • Approaching needs with integrity, composure, and compassion.
2. Utilize digital tools to demonstrate coverage, plans, and services, and complete training on in-store experience, systems, and resources. Seek ongoing learning about innovations.
3. Build relationships with T-Mobile employees across channels to ensure a seamless customer experience, support team initiatives, and create an inclusive environment.

Education and Work Experience

• High School Diploma/GED (Required)
• 6 months of customer service and/or sales experience; retail experience preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Passionate customer advocate who enjoys connecting and having fun.
• Competitive drive and success in fast-paced sales environments.
• Willingness to learn and share ideas with peers and leaders.
• Ability to balance customer needs with performance goals.

Hourly Pay: $19.00/hour during training, with promotion to Mobile Expert and incentives thereafter. All employees guaranteed at least $20/hour including incentives. Eligible for annual stock grants.
