Job summary

Behavioral Health Connections in Dallas, TX is seeking a dynamic Mobile Assessor PRN to work 6-12 hours on Weekend Nights. The assessor will perform mental health evaluations for contracted ERs/hospitals, determine appropriate level of care, and triage patients to services.

The role requires completion of internships in therapy/counseling, licensure in relevant behavioral health fields, and a valid driver’s license to support mobile assessments.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health or related field.
• Current state license: LPC, LMFT, LMSW, LCSW, or RN.
• CPR certification and valid driver’s license.

Behavioral Health Connections (BHC) in Dallas, TX is seeking a dynamic and talented Mobile Assessor PRN to work 6-12 hours Weekend Nights to join the team of compassionate, dedicated professionals. The Mobile Assessor provides mental health assessments for contracted emergency rooms and/or hospitals, recommends the appropriate level of treatment based on the Assessor’s assessment of risk factors, and triages patients to appropriate services.

Qualifications

Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health or related field.

Licensure / Certification

Current license in state as a Licensed Professional Counselor (\"LPC\" or \"LPC-A\"), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (\"LMFT\"), Licensed Master Social Worker (\"LMSW\"), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (\"LCSW\"), or Registered Nurse (\"RN\"). Current CPR, if required by a customer hospital. (\"Customer hospital\" means the hospital to which BHC is contracted to provide mobile assessment services.) Must have a valid driver’s license.

Experience

Completion of appropriate internship, including the provision of individual, group or family therapy/counseling. Experience providing individual, group and family therapy/counseling.
