Job summary

Behavioral Health Connections, Inc. in Tempe, AZ is seeking a Mobile Assessor for full-time night shifts to perform mental health assessments in contracted ERs and hospitals, recommending the appropriate level of care and triaging to services.

The role requires a Master's degree in a related field and an active LPC/LMFT/LMSW/LCSW or RN license, CPR where required, and a valid drivers license. This position is with UHS subsidiaries and offers career growth within the organization.

Qualifications

• Masters degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health or related field.
• Current license in state as a LPC/LPC-A, LMFT, LMSW, LCSW or RN.
• CPR certification as required by the customer hospital.
• Must have a valid drivers license.

Behavioral Health Connections (BHC) in Tempe, AZ is seeking a dynamic and talented Mobile Assessor Full Time Nights to join the team of compassionate, dedicated professionals.The Mobile Assessor provides mental health assessments for contracted emergency rooms and/or hospitals, recommends the appropriate level of treatment based on the Assessor’s assessment of risk factors, and triages patients to appropriate services.

Qualifications

Education

Master’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Behavioral Health or related field.

Licensure/Certification

Current license in state as a Licensed Professional Counselor (“LPC” or “LPC-A”), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (“LMFT”), Licensed Master Social Worker (“LMSW”), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (“LCSW”), or Registered Nurse (“RN”).

Current CPR, if required by a customer hospital. (“Customer hospital” means the hospital to which BHC is contracted to provide mobile assessment services.)

Must have a valid driver’s license

Experience

• Completion of appropriate internship, including the provision of individual, group or family therapy/counseling.
• Experience providing individual, group and family therapy/counseling.
• Mobile assessment experience preferred.
