Job summary

Bar Partners / Amuze is expanding its traveling technician team in the Oakland, CA area to inspect, test, repair, and maintain arcade and amusement equipment. The role combines independent route management with hands-on maintenance and customer-facing service to ensure machines stay operational and clean.

You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, handle routine preventive maintenance, and document service notes and collection records.

Qualifications

• Mechanically inclined with practical problem-solving ability.
• Ability to learn repair methods, tools, and safety procedures.
• Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail.
• Good verbal communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and follow remote management guidance.

Responsibilities

• Manage assigned route and service schedule for arcade equipment.
• Inspect, test, repair, maintain, and clean machines to keep them fully operational.
• Troubleshoot, repair, install, and remote-support lower-level issues as needed.
• Collect revenue, record meter readings, and follow cash-handling procedures.
• Document work orders, service notes, and status updates for locations.
