Job summary

Bar Partners / Amuze is seeking an Arcade Traveling Technician to service arcade and amusement equipment across Oakland and surrounding areas. You will inspect, test, repair, and maintain machines, ensuring uptime and customer satisfaction.

The role involves route management, service calls, cash handling, inventory, and safety. Ideal candidates are mechanically inclined with strong problem-solving skills, able to travel, work independently, and use mobile devices for work orders.

Qualifications

• Must be mechanically inclined with practical problem-solving ability.
• Ability to learn repair methods, tool-use practices, safety procedures, and work standards.
• Strong organization, time management, documentation, and communication skills.
• Ability to travel regularly across the assigned territory and work independently.
• Proficiency with smartphones/tablets for work orders and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage the route and service schedule.
• Inspect, test, repair, and maintain arcade equipment.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and install components.
• Respond to service needs and outages promptly, escalate when needed.
• Collect and reconcile machine revenue; maintain records.
• Maintain inventory and document parts used.
• Complete work orders and keep management informed.
• Work safely and follow company assets and safety protocols.
