Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Software Engineer, Mobile Apps (Starlink) to advance the UX for millions of Starlink customers. You will develop well‑architected, responsive apps and contribute to full‑stack systems in a .NET/Kubernetes environment, delivering high‑quality code for modern browsers.

You will collaborate with multiple engineering teams, optimize performance, and drive data‑driven decisions. A strong frontend background with React/Angular and backend proficiency in Python/C#/Go is essential

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree (or 3+ years full‑stack experience in lieu of degree).
• Proficiency in Python, C#, .NET, Go, Java or Scala.
• Production Docker and Kubernetes experience.
• Frontend experience with Angular or React.
• DB experience with PostgreSQL or SQL Server.
• Experience with version control, CI/CD concepts.
• Performance profiling and optimization expertise.
• Familiarity with build systems and package managers.

Responsibilities

• Develop well-architected, responsive web apps.
• Build reliable software systems for Starlink.
• Design and maintain scalable networks and services.
• Deliver TypeScript React code for modern browsers.
• Develop full‑stack microservices in a .NET/Kubernetes environment.
• Emphasize monitoring and data‑driven decisions.
• Collaborate with internal partners to drive outcomes.
• Coordinate with Starlink engineering teams on architecture and reviews.
• Deeply understand user problems to craft efficient solutions.
• Contribute to architectural discussions and code reviews.
