Job summary

SpaceX is hiring a Software Engineer, Mobile Apps (Starlink) in Redmond, WA. You will build responsive mobile and web interfaces for millions of Starlink users, and contribute to a .NET microservice architecture running in Kubernetes.

You’ll work with Python/C#/Go/Java, Docker, and CI/CD to deliver high‑quality experiences. Qualifications include a bachelor’s in CS/engineering or 3+ years of full‑stack experience, and strong knowledge of distributed systems, databases, and performance profiling.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or a STEM discipline and 1+ years of experience building full‑stack software; OR 3+ years of professional experience building full‑stack software in lieu of a degree (internship experience is applicable)
• Experience building mobile apps and full‑stack web services in a production environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop well‑architected, responsive, and performant web applications
• Develop highly reliable and available software systems for Starlink
• Design and implement highly available, fault‑tolerant networks that operate for long periods with minimal maintenance at scale
• Full‑stack application development (.NET microservices in Kubernetes)
• Focus on monitoring and alerting to drive data‑driven decisions and improve observability
• Collaborate with internal partners and other engineering teams on architecture, design, and code reviews
• Dive into user problems to create efficient solutions
• Contribute to team discussions and decisions on architecture and design
