Job summary

7 Brew Coffee is seeking a Software Engineer II to design, build, and maintain our mobile apps and supporting backend services. You will own features end-to-end, collaborating with product, design, and backend teams to deliver reliable digital experiences.

The role involves shipping production-grade iOS and Android apps, enhancing user experiences, and participating in CI/CD and testing. Strong Python/FastAPI skills and modern web tech are a plus.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of professional software development experience, focused on mobile apps
• Experience shipping production mobile apps for iOS, Android, or cross‑platform
• Experience owning features through development, testing, deployment, and production support
• Knowledge of backend services, APIs, and cloud integrations desirable

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain production iOS and Android mobile applications.
• Develop new mobile features and enhance existing customer experiences.
• Troubleshoot and resolve mobile application issues, including production incidents.
• Support mobile application testing, releases, and ongoing performance improvements.
• Participate in App Store and Google Play deployment processes.
• Build and maintain backend services and APIs using Python and FastAPI.
• Design and develop RESTful APIs and microservices that support mobile and web applications.
• Develop reliable, scalable, and maintainable services that support growing business needs.
• Troubleshoot backend services, integrations, and production issues.
• Contribute to web application development as needed using modern web technologies.
• Support digital experiences and content-driven applications, including AEM environments.
