Job summary

Gesture is seeking a Mobile App Engineer Intern to join our Engineering team in Denver to build and ship features for the consumer mobile app. You will gain hands-on experience shipping live features and collaborating with a dynamic engineering group.

You will work with React Native, Swift, or Kotlin, integrate with backend APIs, and contribute to polished UI while learning mobile development best practices. A $600/month internship stipend is provided.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science or Software Engineering.
• Familiarity with React Native, Swift, or Kotlin.
• Understanding of REST APIs and mobile app architecture fundamentals.
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship new features for Gesture's iOS and/or Android app.
• Fix bugs and improve performance across the mobile experience.
• Work with design team to implement polished UI.
• Integrate with backend APIs to power app functionality.
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested mobile code.
• Participate in code reviews and sprint planning.
