Gesture is seeking a Mobile App Engineer Intern to build and enhance features for our consumer mobile app. You will collaborate with an experienced engineering team to deliver polished, high-quality iOS and Android experiences.

The role focuses on shipping live features, improving performance, and integrating with backend services while embracing a fast-paced startup environment and a START-UP mindset.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Familiarity with React Native, Swift, Kotlin, or a similar mobile framework.
• Understanding of REST APIs and mobile app architecture fundamentals.
• Strong problem-solving and time management skills.

Responsibilities

About The Role

We are seeking a motivated Mobile App Engineer Intern to join our Engineering team in Denver, focused on building and improving Gesture's consumer mobile experience. This internship offers hands-on experience developing features for a live, actively used mobile app.

Responsibilities

• Build and ship new features for Gesture's iOS and/or Android app
• Fix bugs and improve performance across the mobile experience
• Work with our design team to implement polished, intuitive UI
• Integrate with backend APIs to power app functionality
• Write clean, maintainable, well-tested mobile code
• Participate in code reviews and sprint planning with the engineering team
• Help test and troubleshoot new releases before they ship

Qualifications
