Job summary

ATE is seeking a Field Technician to perform mobile, field-based diagnostic, programming, and calibration services across customer sites. The role requires daily travel in a company vehicle and adherence to OEM standards while maintaining safety and accurate documentation.

You will diagnose and calibrate vehicle systems, perform programming, document outcomes, and provide excellent customer service. The position offers ongoing training and opportunities for growth within the field services team.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years of automotive experience servicing and diagnosing a wide range of vehicle systems.
• Strong working knowledge of ADAS and electrical services, including calibrations (levels 1–3).
• Proficient with electrical diagnostic equipment such as multimeters, power probes, and resistors.
• Ability to program vehicle modules using factory or approved non-factory software.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to document work clearly per OEM standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fast and accurate ATE service support to internal and external customers.
• Travel daily to assigned service locations in a company-provided vehicle.
• Perform diagnostics, calibrations, programming, scanning, and wire/connector repair.
• Document calibrations clearly and ensure they meet OEM guidelines before execution.
• Conduct test drives to verify system functionality and repair outcomes.
• Provide excellent customer service and communicate with shops and stakeholders.
• Stay current on ATE and OEM protocols through required training.
• Complete final billing per MCP guidelines.
