Job summary

Automotive Technology Experts (ATE) is seeking a Field Technician to perform mobile diagnostic, calibration, and programming services across Crash Champions locations. The role requires daily travel in a company vehicle and strict adherence to OEM standards for safety and accuracy.

Ideal candidates will have ADAS and electrical service expertise, strong diagnostic tool skills, and clear communication to customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• 2–5+ years automotive experience diagnosing and servicing varied vehicle systems.
• Strong ADAS and electrical service knowledge, including calibrations and programming.
• Proficient with electrical diagnostic tools (multimeters, power probes, resistors).
• Ability to read OEM and aftermarket wiring schematics.
• Proficient with vehicle module programming using factory or approved software.
• Clear, professional communication skills, both verbal and written.

Responsibilities

• Deliver fast and accurate ATE service support to internal and external customers.
• Travel daily to assigned service locations in a company-provided vehicle.
• Perform diagnostics, calibrations, programming, scanning, and wire/connector repair.
• Ensure services are documented per OEM guidelines and approved before execution.
• Conduct test drives to verify system functionality and repair outcomes.
• Provide excellent customer service and manage difficult situations with transparency.
• Communicate professionally with shops and internal stakeholders.
• Escalate concerns when needed.
• Participate in team meetings and training sessions.
• Care for and secure ATE tools, equipment, and vehicles.
• Stay current on ATE and OEM protocols through training and updates.
• Meet productivity and quality goals; travel daily to service locations.
• Complete final billing per MCP guidelines.
• Work Saturdays as required; maintain flexible schedule across days.
