Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Mobile Validation in Port Saint Lucie, FL. The role focuses on access-control, badge management, and resident and guest relations at a residential site.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license in the state where the job is located.
• Minimum of 2 years of corrections, law enforcement, military and/or criminal justice degree.
• Possess a CPO certification.
• Possess a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree or 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization, issue credentials, and maintain access records.
• Respond to incidents and concerns calmly, notifying appropriate personnel per site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of residential areas, entry points, parking, and perimeter.
• Communicate professionally with residents, guests, management, and public-service personnel to uphold a welcoming environment.
