Job summary

Creative Food Ingredients Inc. is seeking a dedicated cleaner to maintain cleanliness across cafeterias, restrooms, locker rooms, laundry, office areas and adjacent spaces. The role requires following sanitation procedures and safety guidelines, with occasional support for production tasks.

The employee will participate in Blood-Borne Pathogen activities and uphold hygiene standards across all areas. Responsibilities include cleaning sinks, handling trash, restocking supplies, and weekly rodent

Responsibilities

• General cleaning duties: sweeping, mopping, washing, wiping, hosing down, vacuuming and laundry.
• Follow sanitation procedures and document accordingly.
• May fill in for other sanitation personnel as needed.
• Assist in production when requested by supervisor.
• Be a member of the Blood-Borne Pathogen team.
• Wear and follow safety procedures/MSDS guidelines for cleaning chemicals.
• Clean sinks, collect/dump garbage, restock soap/paper towel dispensers, and weekly wash-pit cleaning.
• Weekly inspection of rodent traps.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas and dispose of trash.
• Keep storage shelves clean and organized with rotated stock.

Position Overview:

Responsible for general cleaning and upkeep of cafeterias, all restrooms, locker rooms, laundry room, office area and any other areas as directed by supervisor.

Essential Job Functions:

• General cleaning duties: This includes but is not limited to sweeping, mopping, washing, wiping off, hosing down, use of compressed air, vacuuming, and laundry.
• Ability to follow set sanitation procedures, schedules and document accordingly.
• May be required to fill in for other sanitation personnel due to vacations, absences, etc.
• May be required to assist in production whenever requested by supervisor.
• Will be required to be a member of Blood-Bourne Pathogen team.
• Ability to read instructions and follow all safety procedures/MSDS Sheets when working with cleaning chemicals.
• Other duties include; cleaning sinks throughout facility, collecting/dumping garbage from restrooms and offices, restocking soap and paper towel dispensers and weekly cleaning of wash pits.
• Weekly inspection of rodent traps
• Responsible for cleanliness of all areas of the kitchen and disposal of trash.
• Keeps storage shelves and stockrooms clean, organized with items properly stored and rotated when deliveries are made.

Non Essential Job Functions:

• Maintain a safe work environment and adheres to all company safety policies.
• Assist with various odd/end jobs as assigned by supervisor.
• Performs other related duties as directed by supervisor.
• Daily interaction with all departments within the company.
