Job summary

Aspirus Langlade Hospital in Antigo, Wisconsin is seeking a Medical Laboratory Scientist or Medical Laboratory Technician to join the LAB team. The role completes chemical, bacteriological, serological, hematological and microscopic procedures with independent judgment as defined by CLIA 88.

Hours are full-time or 0.8 FTE with varied days, every 4th weekend, and holiday rotation. Certification or eligibility within 6 months is required or beneficial; ASCP/CLS certifications preferred.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of laboratory standards and practices as part of an associate or bachelor's degree in laboratory science.
• Previous applicable experience beneficial.
• Possesses active Medical Technology (MT-ASCP), Medical Lab Technician (MLT-ASCP) or CLS-NCA certification or attains within 6 months of hire.

Aspirus Langlade Hospital in Antigo, WI is seeking a MEDICAL LABORATORY SCIENTIST / MEDICAL LAB TECH to join our LAB team! We will consider either position.

The Medical Laboratory Scientist performs chemical, bacteriological, serological, hematological, and microscopic procedures in the Central Clinical Laboratory that require the exercise of independent judgment and interpretation. All individuals in the job classification meet the qualifications necessary to perform high complexity testing as defined by the Clinical Laboratory Improvement Amendments of 1988 (CLIA 88).

HOURS: Full Time or .8 FTE, 64 hours every pay period, Varied shifts but primarily days, every 4th weekend, holiday rotation

Experience/Qualifications

• Knowledge of laboratory standards and practices acquired through completion of an associate or bachelor's degree in laboratory science.
• Previous applicable experience beneficial.
• Possesses active Medical Technology (MT-ASCP), Medical Lab Technician (MLT-ASCP) or CLS-NCA certification or attains within 6 months of hire.
