Kansas Health System seeks an MLS Technical Specialist for Liberty Hospital, supporting comprehensive laboratory testing and acting as the technical expert in the department. You will oversee the lab in the absence of management and ensure accurate, timely results with quality control.

Responsibilities include instrument calibration and QC, staff coordination, and mentoring learners, with a focus on regulatory compliance and continuous improvement.

Competenze

• Bachelor of Science and High School diploma.
• Meets the CLIA requirements for high complexity testing.

Mansioni

• Analyzes patient, control and proficiency testing specimens and records results promptly.
• Maintains an adequate inventory of supplies and reagents.
• Schedules and coordinates departmental staffing.
• Oversees calibration, maintenance and quality control for instruments.
• Ensures compliance with regulatory, safety and hospital policies.
• Mentors students, employees and other health care providers.
