Job summary

University Health KC seeks a MLS Program Coordinator for the Laboratory at UH Truman Medical Center. The role oversees the MLS program, coordinating all activities, accreditation, and staffing within the laboratory setting.

The position requires a Bachelor's in laboratory/medical technology, AMA-approved training, MT(ASCP) certification, and strong communication skills. On-site, 40 hours/week, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, Mon-Fri in Kansas City, MO.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in laboratory/medical technology and AMA approved training program.
• MT(ASCP) certification or equivalent.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Demonstrated proficiency in computer hardware and software use.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and coordinate the MLS program within the laboratory.
• Develop, plan, organize, staff, lead and control program activities.
• Ensure accreditation compliance for the MLS program.
