AdventHealth Hinsdale seeks a Laboratory Technician to join our clinical lab team, performing pre-analytical duties, processing specimens, and ensuring accurate results. You will support post-analytical reporting, SOP adherence, and safety programs, with opportunities to mentor staff.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and relevant lab experience; MLS certification is preferred. Part-time daytime schedule, with emphasis on quality and patient care.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in a chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science or medical technology.
• MLS (ASCP) or MLS (AMT) certification may be required depending on unit.
• Clinical lab experience preferred; CLIA-experience is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Perform pre-analytical activities: equipment checks, inventory, specimen collection and processing.
• Conduct post-analytical activities: reporting results and technical support.
• Follow SOPs, participate in proficiency testing and safety trainings.
• Educate and guide staff, assist in training new employees and students.
